Poems Without Frontiers

Eugenie was born in Ries, Bavaria to a father who was a doctor of medicine. She married a factory owner in Fürth and, under the pseudonym of Eugenie Heiden, wrote poetry, a historical tragedy of Anne Boleyn and a comedy, Der Herr Major auf Urlaub, (The Major on Holiday).
